Resolutions Passed in the General Body Meeting of July 3, 2011

Following resolutions were passed in the General Body Meeting of July 3, 2011. Comments on these resolutions may be received no later than August 31, 2011. Please send your comments to OSA National Executives using contact information as given in

A lack of response by August 31, 2011 will be taken as a vote in favor of the resolution (s).

Resolution 1: Revised constitution draft that was communicated in finalized form to members on June 10th, 2011 was passed in the GBM.

Resolution 2: Kalashree Award was renamed as "Arun Das Kalashree Award"

Resolution 3: Cultural: OSA Program: OSA Regional Drama Festival as an Annual Event.

1. OSA Regional Drama Festivals becomes an annual event.
2. The OSA Executive Body and Board of Governors, select three coordinator(s) and announce the names at the General Body Meeting.
3. After initial appointment, each year one of the coordinators retires so the participation spreads to new volunteers and geographical areas.

Resolution 4: Cultural: OSA Program - Propagating Champu/Chhanda/Odissi

OSA shall take additional initiative to invest some funds for creation of karaoke music for Champu, Chhanda and Odissi.

5.  Grievance Hearing Committee

OSA Grievance Hearing Committee was declared and voted in the GBM
