Cultural Program is a big part of the Convention where small, young and old all particiapte to depict the living and continuing culture of Orissa that flows deep through our arteries with its varied expressions and rich variety. We are preparing for an up-close and personal evening influenced by our art, culture, dress, language, social customs and festivities. Patriots Theater at the War Memorial, with its breathtaking architecture and state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems will make it the perfect backdrop for the convention. While details are still taking shape, but our sole intention is to show the world how we echo eloquently of a living past and continuing present of Orissa, its great culture, heritage & Crafts, even being far from our origin, saata dariaya pari re….

Guidelines for general participation

  • Group performances will get high priority
  • Solo Performances will be limited to invited artists and strictly by the approval from whole Cultural team
  • Originality, unusual and a forgotten Oriya culture & art will be encouraged
  • All performances will be screened by Cultural & Youth Team
  • All requests must be official with strict time limit
  • While objective is to give chances to all quality programs, the team has complete authority to choose the prime time programs based on various criteria
  • All programs will be video taped and OSA has complete right over the  performances on the stage
