OSA Washington DC Chapter
OSA Washington DC is a very important chapter of OSA. Its importance comes from its veteran and talented OSA members and its closeness to the capital area. If you stay in the vicinity of Washington DC, please become a member of DC chapter. The chapter serves the states Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, West Virgina and the capital city Washington DC. The chapter has been very active and has made significant contribution to the National OSA Organization.

History
OSA Washington DC chapter was formed in 1984. Dr Surendra Ray was its first president.
Events
OSA Washington DC organizes 4 events per year. They are Ganesh Puja, Kumar Purnami, Saraswai Puja and Raja Picnic. For the last four years there have been more than 200 participants in its regular events.

Elections
Elections of the chapter is held in an even year in every two years during the fall. The elected representatives take charge in Kumar Purnami event. In future a chapter fiscal year will be finalized for every OSA chapter and OSA DC chapter is ready to accept the rules.
